Bernie's Bookmark: June News

A long beautiful spring that began in February has finally given way to summer. Longer days have higher temps and flowers of every glorious color appear in people’s yards.

This year I took my flower pots to a local nursery to have them filled with flowers. I have always potted them myself; but, once I read about this new approach, I couldn’t resist trying it. I am delighted with the results. It wasn’t even very expensive.

As usual, I have been indulging in some sewing therapy. I discovered that I love making American Doll clothes for my granddaughters’ dolls. I am now addicted to this fun and satisfying pastime.

In ten months my collection of ghost stories will be published. I can’t wait to hold the “flesh and blood” book in my hands. In the meantime, I found a post on a Facebook group page in which a professional voice actor wanted some new material to read just for fun. Did anyone have

some stories? I responded immediately. He is currently recording an audiobook but will contact me when he is free. Once he starts recording my stories, I will post the links here. You can listen and get a feel for the kind of stories I write. I am excited to begin the recordings.
